Booking operations

Reduce booking conflicts and review unused reservations

Double bookings and unused reservations are different problems. Conflict checks protect the schedule when a reservation is created or changed. Unused reservations require clear policies and operational follow-up.

Protect the shared schedule

Keep one source of room availability and check overlaps before confirming a booking. Include recurring reservations and schedule exceptions in the same process.

Make cancellation rules clear

Tell users when they can edit or cancel, and how to release a room they no longer need. Apply limits consistently for the audiences that share the space.

Measure what you actually know

Booking and cancellation records can show demand and changes. They do not prove that a person attended, so avoid reporting a no-show rate unless attendance is recorded separately.
